Rani Pink Ajrakh Bandhani is not just a saree — it is a piece of living craft. Each metre carries the rhythm of two ancient traditions working in conversation — the resist-tied dots of Bandhani and the hand-carved wooden blocks of Ajrakh, both from Gujarat, both using natural dyes, both passed down through generations in the same communities.
The Hands Behind It
Both Ajrakh and Bandhani are living traditions rooted in Gujarat. Bandhani artisans tie thousands of tiny fabric knots by hand before dyeing — each dot a deliberate act of skill and patience. Ajrakh craftsmen then add the geometric block-print borders using hand-carved wooden blocks and natural dyes. When you choose this saree, you are supporting two artisan communities and two ancient crafts simultaneously.
When you choose this saree, you are directly supporting these artisan families and keeping 4,500-year-old traditions alive.
