Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy

 

At Earthy Blocks, every piece is handcrafted by skilled artisans using traditional techniques, natural dyes, and handloom textiles. We are committed to providing high-quality products and a fair shopping experience for our customers.

 

All Earthy Blocks products are handcrafted. Minor variations in weaving, hand block printing, embroidery, texture, dye absorption, motif placement, thread knots, selvedge irregularities, and colour are natural characteristics of handmade products and are not considered defects.

 

Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings, photography lighting, and natural dye processes.

 

Please carefully review product descriptions, measurements, dispatch timelines, and images before placing your order.

 

Orders may be cancelled within 5 hours of placement if production or processing has not begun.

 

Once production, customization, stitching, embroidery, fall-pico, alteration, packing, or shipping has started, cancellation requests cannot be accepted.

 

Refunds for cancelled prepaid orders will be processed after deducting actual payment gateway charges, if applicable.

 

We offer exchanges only under the following circumstances:

•       Incorrect product received

•       Damaged product received

•       Manufacturing defect affecting usability

 

Exchange requests must be raised within 24 hours of delivery by email or WhatsApp along with:

•       Order number

•       Unboxing video

•       Clear photographs of the issue

 

Claims submitted without an unboxing video may not be eligible for exchange approval.

 

Approved exchange items must be unused, unwashed, unworn, unaltered, and returned with original packaging, tags, invoices, and accessories.

 

Products showing signs of use, perfume, makeup stains, deodorant marks, washing, ironing, alteration, or damage after delivery will not be eligible for exchange.

 

Approved exchanges will be dispatched within 5–7 business days after the returned item passes quality inspection.

 

Returns and refunds are accepted only if:

•       The wrong item was delivered

•       The item arrived damaged during transit

•       A verified manufacturing defect exists

 

Earthy Blocks reserves the right to inspect returned products before approving any refund.

 

Refunds will be processed only after successful quality inspection of the returned item.

 

Approved refunds will be credited to the original payment source within 7–10 business days after approval.

 

Shipping charges, COD charges, payment gateway charges, duties, taxes, gift wrapping charges, and customization charges are non-refundable.

 

The following products are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange unless a wrong or damaged product is delivered:

•       Made-to-order products

•       Pre-order products

•       Tangaliya sarees

•       Customized products

•       Altered garments

•       Stitched blouses

•       Sarees with fall and edging

•       Hand-embroidered products

•       Clearance sale products

•       Promotional sale items

•       Gift cards

•       International orders

 

As many of our products are handcrafted after an order is placed, dispatch timelines may vary.

Chanderi Sarees	18–22 business days
Tangaliya Sarees	35–45 business days

 

Any specific dispatch timeline mentioned on the product page will take precedence.

 

Delays caused by weather conditions, artisan availability, transport disruptions, natural calamities, government restrictions, courier delays, or circumstances beyond our control shall not qualify for cancellation, compensation, refund, or exchange.

 

To protect both customers and artisans, Earthy Blocks reserves the right to:

•       Request photographs or videos before approving claims

•       Reject fraudulent, abusive, or repetitive claims

•       Refuse returns where products have been used, altered, damaged, or tampered with after delivery

•       Record packaging, dispatch, and shipment evidence for verification purposes

 

Any attempt to misuse the return, exchange, chargeback, refund, or replacement process may result in cancellation of future orders and legal action where applicable.

 

International shipping charges, customs duties, import taxes, VAT, and local government charges are the responsibility of the customer.

 

International orders are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange except in cases where an incorrect or damaged item is received.
